    Okay so I lied to my mom. A long time ago I got in trouble for having a kik. I lied to her about having it and she found out. Yesterday I was thinking about getting on it because she was at work. I was downloading it when she opened the door and I got really scared because I was wondering why she was home. That didn't matter because I was caught. So, I said hey mom and deleted it. I wasn't very smooth because she saw me and now I am punished. I cannot have my phone, any social media, and worst of all I can't talk to my boyfriend anymore. I know you may say I'm too young ( 13) to have a boyfriend but we didn't do anything without a parent present. I really just want to regain her trust because I am good kid. I make a lot of stupid decisions sometimes but I just want her to let me talk to or see him again. She can keep my phone and everything else she took. Does anyone think that she will let me see him again eventually? can anyone give me any advice or things I should do ? I really don't like being in trouble although I may deserve it. this sounds really selfish but I need help , someone , anyone , just give me advice

    Sorry, you don't get to choose the punishment for your lack of good judgement, and indulging in lying and deceit, or how long it takes for your mom to trust you again. Be a good girl until she does though, and too bad for your boyfriend. You should have considered all the things your lying would cost you BEFORE you lied, and I might point out, you tried to deceive your mom TWICE.

    Since you didn't learn the first time, now there are more consequences for the second time. Sure, ask her to talk to your boyfriend again, so she can read you the riot act on responsibility and honesty and leave you sad and mad at being told NO!

    Better to show you know you were wrong and do your time and hope your good behavior gets you off sooner. That's more impressive than trying to beg your way out of it for some boy. You better think about putting your young "love" before your mom's TRUST!

    You are nowhere near ready to be trusted. You betrayed her trust twice and still all you can think about is being able to talk to your boyfriend. Take your punishment no matter how long it takes with no complaints.

    You guys are right, at a time like this I shouldn't be thinking about a boy. I should be getting my things together. I just really don't know how. But, thanks for your answer

    Start with some truth and honesty, and add some GOOD behavior. It's not that hard.

    Do your chores without being told, ask if there are things you can do to help, be a good obedient kid. An apology for lying wouldn't hurt either
