Water from water line into toilet
It seems that the tube outside of the toilet that puts water into the tube continues to put more and more water into the tank. We've taken it off and cannot get it to stop flowing. What do we do now?

Need more clarification. The tube outside the toilet has a shutoff valve at the wall to turn it off. Something you rarely have to do.

There is also a second tube that puts water into a bigger tube INSIDE the tank... which are you referring to?
