My waltec 12 tub and shower unit drips out of shower nozzle when I am cleaning the tub. Can this piece be replaced without changing the Brass?

I'm confused. You said a tub and shower valve. If the shower head leaks, the tub spout should also leak when the diverter valve is directed to the tub spout. I don't know what you mean about changing the brass. What brass?
