Adding mini split a/c & heat pump
I turned my garage into a workshop and want to install permanent heat and air and am going to buy a ductless a/c & heat pump. Is it better to buy it with 220 volts or with 110 volts?

220 Volts, less amps, less electricity.

Watts is what are used, not Amperes. Watts= Volts X Amps is the same and therefore the same power is used. 240 is a bit more efficient under load and running plus smaller wire.
