Can a ceiling fan that's not installed correctly cause problems with wall receptacles
I installed a ceiling fan awhile ago and now I lost power to a few receptacles in a bedroom and now my TV and lamp in living room are turning off and on by themselves. Can the ceiling fan be causing this issue?

The ceiling fan won't but faulty wiring will.

Pull a receptacle and see if the quick connect holes in the back were used to wire the receptacle.
