I have a Kenmore 665. 17772 Ultra Dishwasher. The manual states if the "lock light" flashes either 2 keys are stuck or a key without a light is stuck. The only key that I know of without a light is the "Start" key.

Do you have any suggestion short of replacing the key pad assemble?

You will definitely need a good digital multimeter before you will be able to fix this appliance because you cannot see electricity or inside a circuit. Home Depot has a good clamp on meter for about $42.00.
