I have had a cockapoo for three years and she was so spoiled because she was our only pet. We recently just got a 7 week old puppy and the cockapoo stopped eating and she just doesn't act as happy to see us when we get home. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated!

How long has it been since she ate? Most dogs can go a few days without hurting a thing. More so if it is overweight like many spoiled dogs. A new puppy is very time consuming, but you must make time to give the old dog plenty of attention. I think you will find plenty of material you need in the sticky at the top of the forum. It includes both care of a new puppy, and dogs that won't eat. I highly doubt your Cockapoo has reached the point of needing to be tempted with rich food. Dogs seldom harm themselves by not eating.
