He is asian but says he is not into asian girls and likes blonde blue eyed girls like myself. However, I found out that he not only watches asian porn all the time, but he looks at asian girls that he's friends with on Facebook and THEN watches asian porn. I've dated plenty of guys that watch porn but the fact that he is into watching asian porn after looking at asian girls that he is friends with really weirds me out. Thoughts?

The reasons aren't ANY different. I married a Brunette that's petite with small boobs, at different times I like watching Asians, Blondes red heads, big boobs medium or small... none of it has anything to do with the price of rice in China. Neither does what he watches as long as its not kiddy porn.

I don't get it. What's weird about an asian guy, having female asian friends, and watching asian porn? What's weird would be you dating an asian guy, and not liking asian porn.

Why is it an issue, I have no idea. Why should he watch white, blue eyed girls, if that is what you are, and he has you. He may like to watch different things. Some men like to watch threesomes, but it does not mean they want to really do it, or they like watching lesbian porn, but it does not mean, they want their girlfriend to be lesbian.

What men, as myself, like to watch when consuming porn varies from day to day and often hour to hour. For example, my porn collection contains, everything from fat, chubby, black, amateur, midget, old/mature/milf, asian, skinny, furry, anime/hentai/ecchi, etc... I am a connoisseur of fine pornography. It isn't a reflect of what they're looking for in a partner, but what seed of fantasy they want at that particular time. While my wife does fall in the category, several actually, that I tend to favour, she doesn't fall in the category of the majority of my porn consumption.

When you're looking for a mate you're looking at a completely different set of criteria. Fitness for example, which means a whole range of things and is different person to person, is a conscious and subconscious measure of the person's health. The conscious aspect looks at weight, body shape and symmetry, eye/hair/skin colour, and we look for anything that would make them unfit as a partner. Examples of this might be yellowing skin or breaking out in sores, or traits similar to down's syndrome, or age that might complicate various things in a relationship, or blonde hair and blue eyes in your case. Then you have the subconscious which looks at smell, visual, auditory cues. It's your body's way of picking up possible signs of disease, sickness, and even immunity state. It's your body's way of weeding out people that are too close of kin, or wouldn't make strong and healthy children. There is also the social aspects that boil down to how well the mate is going to be able to raise your children. Wealth, social standing, grooming, are all things we pick up and decide upon.

When we're looking for something to spank our monkey too, we're far less picky. We're just looking for that seed of fantasy that will take us through to... cumpletion.

Considering the above, your boyfriend made many measures, as did you, before he decided to get with you. You did the same. I wouldn't be concerned with the porn that he looks at.

Um, so him watching general porn is fine but because he's watching ASIAN porn, it's a problem. This sounds like an insecurity issue on your part.
