Have Harbor Breeze ceiling fan. Remote works fine on speed buttons and blue LCD light comes on when buttons are pushed. But light button LCD does not light up and light does not turn on.

Sounds like it is not functioning and repair is not worth it. Did anything happen prior to the malfunction like lightning or electric repair?

Nothing happened prior to light not working. Just stopped one day. Speed controls would fine. Remote light button does not light up when pushed. Buttons light up for speed controls. I think it may be the remote and I need a new one. Will resetting the remote help?Thanks

You could try resetting the remote, even changing the batteries. Do you have a manual?

I have the fan manual and checked available info in internet for the remote. I tried resetting the remote but it didn't correct the problem. I'll buy a new remote and hope that is the answer.
