What is objectionable about representation of a prophet?
When God instructed us not to make craven images he was speaking about images that are worshiped in place of God, why then should those who depict a prophet be killed?

Apparently, it is written in several Muslim hadith (supplemental teachings) that there are to be NO visual depictions (drawings, statues, "graven images") of this prophet. Supposedly, images and drawings might encourage idolatry. The prophet is sometimes shown with a veil over his face or is represented by a flame.
So much for the home of the Free and land of the Brave.
This is just outrageous...

What do they say about Two Wrongs....
With my understanding it is a matter of who you're worshiping. Mohammad was a prophet, so was jesus, noah, and moses, They'll all messengers of god, speak of what god hath told them. It is god that they're worshipping. Mohammad was just a prophet, just a man. God told Gabriel, "We'll try this one more time, here is my word and how I want those bugger live, you go down to this Mohammad character and give him this info." There was no magical conception or what not. Just a conversation from an angel to a man.
So to stem the worship of a man instead of God, they came up with a proclamation that there should be no images of Mohammad.
