Hi! My name is Marissa. I'm currently trying to conceive my first child with my fiancé. We have been trying for over a year. I have been taking ovulation tests every month but I get one positive around the 2-4th day of my period and once on my fertile week. Am I not getting pregnant because of that? Please help!

What is the length of your cycle? Are your periods regular? Are you getting test results that are as dark or darker than the control line? Which test kit are you using? Since ovulation occurs just once a cycle, you shouldn't be getting two positive results. How far apart have you found your fertile week to be from your period?

Are you also checking changes in cervical mucus? Have you given temping and charting a try?
