I have an oil painting done by Melton, how do I find if it has any value!! I have some paper work that cam with it!!

Take the painting, along with the paperwork, to your local art dealer.

Don't know that name. Please state what the paper work says, where you got the painting and in what part of the world, and attach of photo of the front and back. (Anyone, of course, can print out some sort of certificate.)

Which Melton? I have found four or five with a quick search?

I agree that you need to take the painting and documentation to a reputable art dealer.

We can look at pictures and maybe find out more about the artist but we cannot give valuations or tell you if it is authentic. There are too many details that do not show up in pictures such as brush strokes and subtleties of color usage. Also the condition of the painting plays a major part in determining its value. Not something we can determine through pictures.
