Hi doctor I'm 24years old man, 8 months back I suffered from Left testicle pain. The pain was like very horrible, I felt like it was heavy weighted such as carrying bag about 2 to 3 days. About those two days I got some relaxation from the pain by laying on the bed anyway somehow it was recovered. And recently I gone through the Doppler scrotum scan where the report says absence of Varicocele and Hydrocele, is that cause any effect on sex life in future ? Because now I feel like that it is not getting erection or ejaculation after recovered from that pain. Before it was not like that whenever I had some feeling it was erected automatically but now I feel like some difficulty in erection. Is there any relation between Absence of Varicocele and Hydrocele And failure of erection ? And what will be the status(Presence/Absence) of Varicocele and Hydrocele for normal healthy person ? Please clarify me on this ASAP.

I observe through your question that you suffer from pain, and got relieved thereafter.
Now you say Colour doppler report says Absence of Hydrocele and Varicocele.

I have following suggestions.

1. To find out whether pain is due to injury , infection or congenital( by birth defects ) you should have visited your family doctor, accordingly he would have suggested the treatment.

2. If you got color doppler done as per your dr. advice and report reveals absence of Hydrocele and varicocele that means your are free from major problem. The presence of hydrocele of varicocele would have attracted surgical procedure, cost and discomfort.

3. After ruling out hydro and varicocele , it may be infection leading pain intermittently. That must be treated out.

4. Erection is different issue , depends on mood and pain less secret parts. At your age there is no other possibility other than this.

5.Nevertheless If sperm count is normal fertility will not be an issue.

6. Excessive smoking and Alcohol reduces sperm count.
