    Based on your question, my best suggestion to you would be to hire an electrician.

    The term "Single Pole" is used to describe a switch, not a receptacle.

    I think you are asking how to wire a 120 Volt AC receptacle, correct? Or do you need a 240 VAC circuit? Now do you mean a single receptacle or a dual mounted receptacle.

    What's the amperage of the circuit that will feed this receptacle? What is the receptacle going to supply (a small appliance or a machine like a table saw) This makes a big difference in what you need to purchase.

    Also, will there be anything else on the circuit?
