Printer was working perfect for the past 4 years when installed,now will not print or scan,although it will print a test page
Connected with hard wire,not wireless

Have you tried updating or reinstalling the drivers ? Also if it is not communicating from computer to printer and back it may just be a bad cable. If you have other cables you might want to try those fixes first.

The cables connections would be the first thing to check.
