Just been visiitng a family member who has a sauce ladle with the following mark: A square containing what looks like a wading bird with long beak. Either side of the legs are the letters "A" and "D". Cant find anything on Google.
The handle is a silver colour, not sure if pure or plated, bowl could be either brass or gold, or plated. No hallmarks, so might not be English.
