Would cleaning an electric toilet with white vinegar cause a problem?
Is there a big difference between using white vinegar and commercial cleaners with phosphoric acid to clean an electric toilet? Would this be the reason the machinator stopped working?

A macerator toilet pump system will not break down as a result of using vinegar or any other "weak" acid solution. Most likely the macerator has blown a fuse (breaker at electrical panel... check that first), or it needs to be worked on to determine which part is defective or clogged up.
