Hi, Im wondering if I experienced implantation spotting. In January my period came on the 3rd and lasted 5 days. In February my period arrived on the 6th and in March it came on the 9th. I'm guessing for April my period to arrive between April 7-9. On March 30-31 I had mild cramps and very light pink spotting when I wiped. Plus I had nausea in the mornings. Can this be implantation?

There's a lot of controversy about implantation bleeding. Some doctors believe in it, others don't.

I'm on the fence. I've known too many women that have spotting right before they find out they're pregnant, to totally discount implantation bleeding.

Having said that, there's really no way to tell. It could be that you have a mild infection. It could be due to rough sex, or a new detergent, or cleaning yourself with a harsh soap or too aggressively. Spotting can be due to many things.

In other words, could it be implantation bleeding? I guess it could. Is it? No one knows.

Wait until your period is due. If you miss it, wait at least a week, then take a pregnancy test using first morning urine. If it's positive then you know. If it's negative then wait another week and test again. If that test is negative then wait and see what happens with your next due period. If you miss it test again or get a blood test done.
