    How to fix a stuck plunger in the bath tub
    Our bath tub plunger is broken and fallen down into the pipes and it's stuck, please help me figure it out. Thanks

    It appears the plunger disengaged from the trip lever. Remove upper round plate with lever handle. There, you should see a metal stick inside the pipe. That stick is what pulls plunger up and down. Now, it is disengaged from the trip lever handle. You should be able to see it. If not, put your finger inside and bring it to the side so you can see it. Now, take needle-nose pliers, grab the end of the wire and pull it up and reattach to the trip lever.

    If you don't see the wire sticking up than the plunger might have disengage at the tub base. In this case, you would have to get behind the tub, unscrew overflow assembly pipes and remove it that way

    Plungers won't fall down the drain and into the trap. They won't pass thought the pipe. So it is stuck somewhere between the "T" in the overflow and trip-lever plate
