Drug Hair Test

Hi,

So I smoked marijuana last week (not very mcuh at all) probably like 4 hits. I also ate one third of a pot brownie a few days after that. I never smoke. I have only smoked a handful of times in my life. I have to take a hair drug test for an internship and I am freaking out. The test will probably be in a month and like 2 weeks from now. What do you think my odds are of passing? If they are low, is there anything I can do to help?

Quite high. The hair drug test is meant to test for habitual use. Occasional use, which is you from what you describe, will not be detected. I wouldn't lose sleep over this. Though if you're going into an industry with possible random drug tests, I would examine all that is expected of you as well as your substance abuses and resolve what can and cannot stay. If you're going to be randomly alcohol and drug tested you'll need to weight whether the possibility of losing your job is worth that beer or blunt.

Don't worry too much about this.

Such a small amount will be even smaller in the next few weeks. I think you may be okay, but from here going forward freak out before you drink, or drug, and expect to take a test and pass, as after the deed is done is too late.

If this truly is all you used, it would (or should) not be enough in your system by that time, to cause a failure.

Just 4 hits would be so little, it may not have even shown at all, soon after.

** of course it is illegal and you should not be doing it.

Thank you! I just wasn't sure if the weed brownie would put a lot more marijuana into my system or not. Will drinking a lot of water help my chances?

No more than normal, since fail by dilution is still a fail, and suspicious too.

No, drinking lots of water will not have any affect on a hair drug test.

A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. With the use you described in your posting I am fairly certain you should have no problem passing a hair drug test. Drinking a lot of water will not effect the outcome of the test.

You are correct as dilution is not a factor in a hair follicle test, just in a urine sample.

I appreciate the help! I did not know if consuming the weed brownie would have put more THC into my system as opposed to me smoking. I take the test tomorrow so I will provide feedback!

Weed Brownies

OK so as stated in my previous question, I am having a hair drug test tomorrow, May 11th and I am very nervous about it. I smoked weed on March 14th, probably like 3-4 full hits. And then on March 18th I ate 1/3 of a weed brownie. I am super nervous I am not going to pass. What are the odds of me passing? I would not be worried if I had only smoked because I do not ever smoke but I am worried of the weed brownie putting more marijuana into my system than smoking and therefore leaving more traces in my hair. Please be honest and let me know my chances of passing or failing. Thanks!

What difference does it make at this point. Its too late to change anything now. If you are going to fail, you are going to fail.

I understand that you are nervous about the test, however, the answers you received on your previous post are as accurate as you are going to get. One of the responses is from a hair drug testing expert. Can't ask for much more reassurance than that! :)

Hair Drug Test Chances??

Took my hair drug test today, May 11th and the last time I smoked was on March 14th like 4 hits. And then I ate one third of a weed brownie on March 18th. I know it is within the 90 day detection period and so I am freaking out. I rarely ever smoke and I would feel so dumb if such little usage screwed me over. If anyone knows a lot about this subject can let me know my chances that would be great. Also if anyone has been in a similar situation as me and can tell me if you passed or failed? That would be great. Thanks

In fact, MyDogFifi does hair drug tests for a living and they said you shouldn't have a problem.

You've taken the test, all you can do is wait. Calm down, wait for the results. You should pass with flying colours.

Thank you! Still waiting for result, the weed brownie is the thing that is scaring me the most.

I took the test Monday and it is now Thursday night and I still have not heard anything. Is that good or bad?

IF I took the test Monday and it is now Thursday night, when will I hear back? Is this good or bad news that I have not heard back yet?

If you haven't heard by now either the lab is backed up or it was a negative test. I am going for the latter rather then the former.
