1 I have a toe touch drain in my tub, but it will not close to stop water leakage. It seems fine, it just won't stop up the water. It goes up and down and twists, but it will not hold in the down position. Are we doing something wrong?

2) The shower neck slants downward and cannot be repositioned, so that the caddy slides down toward the shower head ad dangles at a crazy angle. Any clever/creative ideas on how to make it stay in place? A bunch of rubber bands to stop its slide?

1. The Touch-Down drain plug is spring loaded and is adjustable. You should just push it down, not twist it. If it doesn't hold down in closed position that it is screwed IN too much. See if you can turn it CCW once or twice ( or as needed ) around and see if that will fix it.

2. As far as Shower Caddy goes: usually the sliding part has a screw or a lever that adjust tension of the clamp on the sliding bar. See if you can locate them and use them to adjust the tension. If possible, post photo so we can see what exactly you are dealing with

Hi,

I tried turning and pressing at multiple stops CCW, but no response. I finally decided to get a rubber plug and call it a day.

The shower caddy is 'low tech'. It is simply is slid over the neck of the shower via a scooped out portion in the top center section. But this shower neck slants downward so much, straight from the wall, that the caddy slides down with it. I'll figure something 'low tech' out.

Note that most shower arms (the part that screws into the wall) are not bent in the center. Usually one leg is longer than the other. Either end can be screwed into the wall. Sounds like you need to remove the shower arm and screw the long end into the wall so that you have a horizontal section to hang a shower caddy on.
