I am running windows 98 and am a Newbie. Sometimes when I forward an email with an animated attachment the recipient gets only white squares with a red X in the corner. I have also received attachments like this. Can anyone tell me why? Slimmer

Your doing it all wrong  :D just kidding,, well for one thing 98 only lets you forward a animation as a attachment unless its one of those smilie central smilies etc, usually the recipient must have the same thing in order to see it, its not you though, just that they aren't able to view it, either send it as a attachment or if it's a smiley central etc sort of thing they might have to have the same thing in order to view it, I know I had to get my friend to get it to view it.
Howdy:

Hi,
Try this:
Click on the e-mail you received. It will open. Click on Forward and type the e-mail address to where you want to send it. Before your send it highlight and delete any or all of the text you don't need either in the main body of the e-mail or subject line. Now click send.
By modifying the subject line or the content, it changes it to a new email, so to speak.
Just for information:
If you wish to add or subtract from an Experts' reputation, or show appreciation or discontent with an answer, click on the "balance scales" icon by the Experts' name. You can then choose what you wish.
You can also check on your own reputation by clicking on My Profile at the top, then scrolling all the way down.
