    Sticky oil based paint
I had a small portion of my bath vanity repainted with oil based paint due to a couple small scratches. The portion that was painted 4 days ago seems to remain "sticky". I don't know why as the entire vanity was painted 2 yrs. ago with this same paint, both times using a tiny foam roller appropriate for that paint. Also, this paint is fairly new that was made up only a couple months ago. Any thoughts? Thank You.

One guess is that either you didn't stir it enough, and the varnish rose to the top, or you rolled over it again too soon, such a several hours instead of at least 24. Also, if you use the bathroom a lot, and didn't avoid steam from showers for a full day, it's going to take a long time.

Did you use 2 year old paint left over from the last time?

OP states it is new paint. I agree with Joy, probably rolled over too soon.
