Most people don't get the vitamins they need. You're active, and young. Your bones are still growing, and in order to do that they need the proper nutrition. Calcium is a big one, so is iron, vitamin D, and many other things.
A multivitamin is a good idea for anyone, but especially for a child that's likely not getting all the nutrients they need to grow.
Since you are experiencing pain, and it's been going on for a long time, it's definitely time to talk to a doctor about it. You're still growing, you are active in sports, you don't want lack of proper vitamins to end up stifling that growth and your hobbies. Time to talk to mom and dad and a doctor. :)
