I have no water at my kitchen faucet and in my dishwasher. I have water in rest of the house. Dishwasher was installed about a year ago. Can you tell me what the problem is?

Does kitchen have separate hot water heater ? Here in China, I have separate water heaters for bath and kitchen.

Is it very cold outside? Could a pipe become frozen?

Have you had any other work done prior to this happening?

No separate water heater. It's warm where I live no frozen pipe. No work done recently.

First thing to check would be the aerator at the end of the faucet... simply unscrew it and see if it is clogged. If the aerator isn't the issue then the next step is to shut the shut off valves under the sink off and then disassemble the faucet... see if the faucet cartridge is clogged. Once the parts are out, put a towel over the faucet and pulse the water back on to see if water comes out of the faucet body... take an AWL or large nail and poke the holes in the faucet body to clear the inlet ports. Clean/replace parts if needed and then reassemble faucet.

If no water comes out of the faucet after all this then you would shut off the water main to your house and repeat all steps on the shut off valves under the sink... see if they are clogged up.

Is Dishwasher and Kitchen Faucet ( hot water line ) coming out of the same angle stop, located under the sink ?
