    Bath tub spout pipe
    Im replacing the bath spout and the pipe that the spout was on won't come loose.Ive tried WD40, pliers, and vice grips but still no luck. Any suggestions

    Look on the underside of the spout, some are held on with a hex set screw

    The pipe doesn't come loose. It is probably solder on.

    If you have a threaded pipe nipple sticking out of the wall then you need to use a large WRENCH to loosen the pipe. If you can access the fitting that holds the pipe behind the wall through an access panel then I would advise you to have a friend hold a wrench on the fitting in the wall (if possible) and then have you use a 12"-14" Stillson type wrench to loosen the pipe. That should work for you!

    If you have soldered fitting on the end of the pipe as suggested by Hkstroud, then you will need to install another male adapter to the copper pipe by sweating it on.
