Can my W-2 statement be sent to my E-mail address?

Just trying to have copy of my w-2 so I may file my tax return. I have not received one. But did get a letter saying that I should get a corrected one. I called the hotline and they said I could get a copy on line. What do I have to do to receive my W-2?

Go online as they have instructed, and follow the directions they must have provided.

Call your employer's payroll and ask for one.

If you got a letter stating it was available on line, then that letter should have included instructions for going online to get it. You can't get it sent to an e-mail address, but you can download it as a PDF. But each employer has their own instructions.

Many companies offer the W2 from the company web site or other web sites, not email, where you log on, according to instructions and print it.
So follow the instructions given.
