    Alcohol and Non Alcoholic drinks
Well I have been drinking a lot the past few weeks beers and those mangoritas.. I stopped on Thursday night around nine from beer and it had been 24 hours since I had a drink but I decided to go get those non alcoholic drinks that have 0.05% and have had 3 in the 12 hours, realized after the third one I noticed it contained alcohol. I mite have a EtG test that will be sent to a lab any ideas if it will show up with alcohol

I'm in a outpatient program not for alcohol but for drugs and alcohol but my counselor made a joke about it on doing this test on Monday and I'm just tripping a bit... I don't know what will happen its up to him.

I am sure you meant not JUST alcohol. In any case they will compare your results, to previous tests, and if a drop in levels for either drugs and alcohol isn't apparent, they likely will take appropriate action. Or they may order a more comprehensive test, and kick your arse out of the program for non compliance.

No one can say what your counsellor will do but you should pay attention at being unnerved about a drug/alcohol test after you have done the dirty deed, knowing you are an out patient, is a bit useless. Did you happen to be truthful about your sobriety before they made the joke that shook you up? Or expect no one would know?

What did you expect to happen after your last binge? How and why are you in this outpatient program?

You discuss honestly about what you are drinking with your counselor, if you are lying to them about your drinking problem (it sounds like you have one) then they can not properly help you.

Yes they can cause a failure (or they will show up, failure depends on the terms and limits of the testing)
