Where are you located? What is the brand of the heater?

What is a 13 amp "plug"? Outlet perhaps? Never saw a 13 amp one. Please clarify your question.

Sorry but I am of little help, I am in USA, our amp is 15, 20, 30. In general, you can install a smaller plug but not a larger one. So a 13 amp plug would be safe. The size or thickness of the wire, gauge, determines what amperage can be run down a wire.

Why would you change it? What is the problem with what you have?

See if you can get a 13 amp to 15 amp plug adaptor.

They are sold at most local electrical/hardware parts stores and should solve your plug configuration problems.

I am not sure if my American advice will safely apply to your Malaysian electrical problem, so a trusted local electrician should be consulted.

I would be interested in knowing your outcome.
