    Light steel frame house
Hi everybodyPlease help me to answer this question. I want to build a family house. But I don't know wich way/technology it's the best. I don't want to wait for ages to build a brick house because my wife is pregnant. I think that the best choise is the light steel frame technology. What do you think? I found a very nice house on this webpage: HOUSES WITH ATTIC - Edi G1. Thank you in advance!

This type of framing is not widely encountered in the US for residential building construction. Not sure where you live but permitting may be a problem. Finding someone to erect a house like this falls more into the commercial end. I have used steel framing for division walls but personally would hesitate to build a house this way. You need special procedures for wiring since the wire passing through the framing needs special insulating grommets. Any short to the frame energizes the whole house.
