We have a Delta single lever shower faucet. It has been shutting off water flow in the middle of a shower for a couple months, getting worse recently. We finally addressed it today by replacing the cartridge with the same results. The water comes on with full pressure for a few seconds, then shuts off suddenly. If you turn the water off and wait a while, the water can be turned back on, only to shut off again. Any ideas on what else could be wrong? I did make sure our water heater temp was set at 125 degrees just in case it was the anti-scald gauge.
