Rolling ads on right of page
I have severe vertigo. Have been using Yahoo since 1997. Got new laptop and page has rolling ads on the right. I require airplane bags just to check my email. How can I make these stop moving on me. I also have multiple vision so it is 3 D nausea here.

Suggest you search the web for pages complying with WCAG standard have recently completed a site with rolling windows unfortunately site design must work to attract attention to a message. Look to switch to a pure text function

Use Chrome as your browser and add the AdBlockPlus extension - it removes ads.

I use AdBlockPlus on Yahoo and it blocks ads. It is the best adblocker that I have used. It is very easy to install and you can enable or disable it when Yahoo starts. Personally I keep it enabled. It does slow down the loading of pages, but only slightly.

Look for a text only browser, you can do a Google search for something like lynx

I just went from a older Dell to a newer one with Windows 8.1. Within a minute of setting it up, it was full of ad malware. I tried for a week to eliminate sites one by one, and finally had to start at the beginning, re-installing the system. (And I had ABP, but ABP just was overloaded by the effort, so that it took forever for ABP to finish.) I installed a free version of Norton as soon as I reinstalled the system.
