My Maytag French Door refrigerator is freezing items in the door.
Recently my Maytag French Door refrigerator started freezing the liquid items in the door. The door has an opening that allows cold to colder air to circulated up from the freezer by way of an adjustable vent. I looked through the owners manual and determined that maybe the coils on the bottom of the frig were dirty. They were very dirty. Dust bunnies everywhere. I cleaned out the area as best I could using compressed air and a vacuum. It helped some, but it feels like it still is too cold on that side of the refrigerator. I just bumped up the temperature to 40.
    What else should I try?

They recommend 37 degrees, if you still have items freeze when set at 37 then you might be blocking some of the circulation of air inside the door. I have a french door frig that will freeze eggs on the top shelf if the plastic container is too close to the vent.
