    Oil burner
My oil burner runs till about 160F degrees and shuts off. It will t restart on its own. If I push the reset button it restarts.
If I shut it off manually before it reaches that temp and turn it back on, the unit restarts.

Steve, I don't really understand your question. Are you saying if you do not shut it off manually it won't restart on it's own? If so, what are you shutting off, the thermostat or switch?
