What can I do in the psychology area or science like emt or counseling being a convicted felon?

Go to a community college and get a certificate for drug and alcohol counseling. Check with instructors about how to present yourself. You could work with teens maybe in bad neighborhoods (or even in middle-class neighborhoods) and advise them on how not to make bad choices.

Hopefully you won't be limited as a felon. Many pseudo gov't jobs, Counseling, EMT, etc. will do background checks so better to be up front. Keep trying but check beforehand.
