Hello everyone, I need serious well water help.
    Hello,
I have lived in my house for 12 years, we have a well water. It stains everything and clogs up sinks and appliances from dish-washer and ice line to shower panels and toilets. After I discovered that all that was installed for me was a water conditioner, I took it out and replaced it with a pre-filter, filter, salt conditioner and added an iron reducing salt bags. Now millions of tiny brown grains are flushing out of my water line and clogging everything. Soon after a clean out my sinks, and the water runs fine for less than 3 minutes, it clogs again. Can anyone offer a solution? I have been flushing the lines to no end.
    Regards.

How deep is your well? If you have a submersible pump it may be picking up sediment from bottom of well. Try raising the pump about 1 foot.

Let us know if this helps.

Did the problem start when you changed filters?

It could be silt, but I would think your pre-filter and filter would catch that.

I agree with ilisenbe filter should catch dirt coming through. But once filter is clogged, water will slow down or stop.
