My child 8 yrs old has had encopresis problem since last few years. She is also a very highly sensitive child and also has glaucoma in her right eye. Her bowel trend is as follows:-

With a good diet control she poops 4-5 times a day for 6-7 days continuously but quantity is never very big to feel its evacuated completely. Then next 5-6 days quantity is further smaller. With poor diet control she is constipated with almost no poop for 8-9 days. Soiling of underwear is always there.

Kindly suggest what best we can do to clean her bowel regularly without using enemas and suppositories as their usage have caused significant behavioral damage to her considering the fact that she is very very sensitive and her past history of being under continuous treatments (because of eye).

This is something you will have to discuss with her gastroenterologist.
