    Heavy bleeding after sex
Hi wondered if any one can help I have just recently had sex with my new partner, I have not had sex in 4 months due to being raped before christmas, I bled quite a bit after this although it was not a vicious attack, I was treated for almost every STD as a precaution so I know I do not carry anything at the moment. Me and my current boyfriend had sex a couple of days ago, it was not rough and I bled slightly afterwards for about a day, I was not worried as it was not that much but it was bright red. We had sex again last night but pretty much straight after I started bleeding very heavily and its carried on since, I have cramps and I'm in pain, I am getting worried as this had never happened before even when I have had rough sex with ex boyfriends. I had some test's done at the doctors a few months back as my periods cut off suddenly for 6 months although they could not find out why. I have had a heavy period two weeks ago and this new bleeding is unusual, does anyone know what could be going on or have any advice they could give me?

    Thanks

Are you on any kind of BC, Depo specifically?

I may sound dumb here but I don't know what you mean, I'm not on any kind of medication or any contreceptive and haven't been for months and months.

You don't sound dumb. BC is short for birth control and depo is a form of birth control that comes in a shot form and is given once every 3 months.

You say you had bright red blood. Bright red should always be a cause for concern. I can't say what is causing this because it is necessary to get a physical to see where the bleeding is coming from. So, please make an appointment with your doctor to discuss this.

Doctor said there is nothing he can do nor tell me why it's happened etc and that it's been passed on to a specialist.

Shows why the faith has gone in the NHS!
