Dad still puts cream on 12 year old daughter's chest.
I find it very uncomfortable that a dad still puts cream on his 12 year old daughters chest and he still goes in the bathroom when she asks him to come and wash her back. She still gets in bed with him at night as well. I have a gut feeling that won't go away. She is a big girl 5 ft, and now has a bust.

Yes, it does sound suspicious. How do you know about this?

    And what is your question?

If he is a single dad, this could be innocent. Where is the mother and how long ago did she leave the picture? What type of cream. Nudity does not always means sexual. Some families are very comfortable with nudity and may think nothing of a parent washing a child's back or putting on some Vapo Rub.

Is he a friend of yours or is the daughter a friend of your daughter's?

If you really think something untoward is going on, then report it to your local Family Services agency.

And you witnessed this. How do you know about this.

I know what your question is. So, report it, with evidence, to the proper authorities if you are TRULY interested in doing something about a situation you are not comfortable with.

I highly suggest you have more facts than suspicious, uncomfortable feelings when you make allegations to anyone.

I agree with Tal, while there are some issues of concern (especially the sleeping together), there could be extenuating circumstances. If he is really a friend, would you want him investigated on this? Would you want him to lose his daughter? Would you want the daughter to lose her father after already losing a mother?

Please go very slow and careful here or drop it.

What do you want us to say. Report it to CPS and they will have to know specifics. Step up and do what you have to do!

How long have you noticed this going on? And how did you find out about the sleeping arrangements and bath time?

It would seem you must have spent a lot of time there.
