Will a burnt wire in the outlet cause the rest to go out?
We have a 1964 Skyline mobile home. Kid plugged computer in his room and now we have no power to the right side outlets to his room. No interior light to his room, and no lighting the bathroom. Fuses are all good and solid. No GFI breakers to check. Will a burnt wire in the outlet cause the rest to go out? If not where to start? Thank You. Mark

Sure will. Need to trace back to the first outlet, pull the covers and outlets and start looking for loose, burnt or disconnected wires. If the wires are "back stabbed" in the rear of the outlet, suggest putting the wires under the screws.
