Hello I have a question. I been off the depo provera shot for 3 months I haven't had a period since I got off the shot. Went to go see the OB/GYN on November 24 2014 and she told me to take these 10 pills called medroxyprogesterone and I still have no menstrual cycle and now my breast are starting to get sore and I have major nausea I don't know what to do. Can someone sheed some information with me so it can ease my mind a little, it would be greatly appreciated.

Did your doctor do a pregnancy test prior to prescribing the medication? Would pregnancy be a possibility? Its not unusual at all for periods to be delayed after stopping depo. It may be the progesterone has thrown your cycles off even more. Perhaps a period will be starting soon. If you continue to feel unwell, check with your doctor.

Yes when I went she gave me a pregnancy test and the results came back negative I also took at home test as well and the result were negative too. And its December and I still don't have a cycle. I did spotted one day Wednesday December 3 2014 while taking the pills but that was it. And thank you for responding to my post.
