    Pregnancy followed by miscarriage
I am 27 year old female.. I got pregnant naturally after trying for five years.. and it was a blighted ovum.. I miscarried after 7 weeks. I am so worried if any one have such a case and then having a successful natural pregnancy?

So sorry to hear that you had a miscarriage. Fortunately, you are no more likely to have another just because of having had a blighted ovum. There are some situations when a woman may have a few miscarriages and a reason is found, such as problems with low progesterone, but thankfully the majority of women who have a miscarriage will go on to have a healthy pregnancy.

Some doctors feel that you are actually more likely to become pregnant fairly soon after a loss. It would be wise to speak to your doctor about having tried for 5 years before becoming pregnant. Were you already under a doctor's care, and were there fertility issues found and resolved?

Everyone's pregnancy journey is very different, but since you are asking, I'll share mine.

My first pregnancy ended in D&C (blighted ovum) at 13 weeks. In total, I had six pregnancies and two beautiful babies born from them. One of my issues was low progesterone, but with a doctor's help, I overcame it. That said, when we were actively trying to conceive, I became pregnant every 5-8 months. If you needed 5 years, that exceeds the "common" time frame of up to one year of trying, so you should be under medical care to address this.

    Good luck to you

Thank you so much for your advice... I had unexplained fertility... I had HSG 3 months ago n then I was on parlodel due to high prolactin levels and I luckily conceived naturally after one month treatment of parlodel... n then unluckily it was blighted ovum... I am again taking the medicine for high prolactin and hoping to get pregnant soon... bt at the same time m worked a lot that it may not take the same time again to get pregnant as it took before 😔..
    Thanks
