I happened to watch this movie once years ago on TV but I did not watch the beginning so a lot is missing but I remember this:
The movie talk about a young girl that go to a fictional world following a guy she likes. The guy she search for in this fantasy world appears to be a prince and the queen which is either evil or crazy rules this world. The girl go in adventure in this world and meet a strange looking man who help her and try to convince her that the prince is evil. In the end of the story the prince himself appear to be a good guy and the queen is defeated and the girl has to go back to her world and the strange looking man hesitate but follow her in the end and go out with her.and I also remember that the gate to the world is a mirror that could be activated as a gate some way.
