How to make concrete wall water tight
    Hi,

I have an ongoing construction and am very concerned about wall leakage during rain seasons. The walls are concrete bricks with a slab roof, that is to say there is no enough overhang that will throw water away from walls. Would you recommend cladding?

    Regards,
    Edward

It depends on where you live. Where I live, no one builds out of concrete block anymore. No insulating value, prone to termites in the open spaces inside the blocks, and just too difficult to build around windows and such.

I would seal with an epoxy sealer meant for concrete, and I would add a little overhang onto the roof, with gutters. For a more visually appealing look, I might stucco first.

But again, the best techniques vary around the world.
