Toilet Tank Fills Slowly - most water going into overflow tube goes down drain
This is regarding a newer toilet (Jacuzzi - Perfecta gu04-ez33). It fills very slowly despite very good flow through the refill tube. When I go to the basement, I can hear most of the water flowing down the drain, well after the flush is complete. The flapper is in good shape and achieves a good seal. Any ideas?

Sounds like some trash cut in your ball cock. Before I can help I need to know which ball cock is yours. Back to you, Tom

Yep I agree with Tom there may be some debris inside your fill valve, here is what you need to do, close the angle valve under toilet tank, remove the tank lid remove the cap from the fill valve remove the seal hold your hand on top of the fill valve open the angle valve to flush out the debris close the angle valve now inspect the seal if any damage get a new one, install the seal and the cap open the angle valve and see if your problem is resolved, now check you water level is should be approximately 1" inch below the top of the overflow pipe, also please the images below, good luck.

But there is GREAT flow through the refill tube. LOTS of water, and high pressure. It just seems to be going straight down the overflow tube and on down the drain.

    Hello saber10,

I think both Tom and I read your thread wrong, please check the Refill tube it should not be inserted too much into the overflow pipe, please open the link below will show you how to install the overfill tube, Thanks.

Hi saber, also check to be sure the chain to the flapper is not to tight.

flush the unit out as directed. Make very sure that the small white tube does not go down too far in the overflow tube. Attach it directly on top. Good luck, Tom
