Hi I amnot sexually active, but my viagina itches so much
I am not sexually active, I don't know some times my viagina starts to itch so much... I checked symptoms for yeast infection but nothing else matches just the itch.. It also goes away in a day but comes back after a week or more.

Can you explain 'nothing else matches just the itch' more? Were you tested for a yeast infection? Did you buy a product for yeast infection? If so, what was it?
It's the most common condition that itches, in women who are not sexually active.

If it turns out that you get yeast infections a lot, over and over, we can tell you ways to help prevent them. But first we need to know if that's what you have.

You should never be afraid to go to your mom with girly problems. Most likely she has had those problems and can be your best advisor when it comes to issues like this.

It could very well be a yeast infection, you can buy over-the-counter creams for this.

This is what I found online

    • Itching and irritation in the vagina and at the entrance to the vagina (vulva)
    • A burning sensation, especially during intercourse or while urinating
    • Redness and swelling of the vulva
    • Vaginal pain and soreness
    • Thick, white, odor-free vaginal discharge with a cottage cheese appearance

But I a. Sure what it is... so I don't know which otc medication should I buy

    I mean I amnot sure**

It's not necessary to have all of those symptoms to have a yeast infection. You can have just one symptom, i.e. itching, and still have a yeast infection.

I am in the US, so I can only recommend what is available in my area. Monistat Cream works well for this type of infection.

You can go to the pharmacy or any store that sells feminine hygiene products.

    How old are you?

If you are 22 and in the US you don't have to tell your mom. Just go to the doctor.

At 22 you don't need to go to your mom with these issues. You're an adult, and can and should be responsible for your own body, and caring for it.

You are 22 and afraid to talk to your mother? You are an adult, you don't need her permission to go to the doctor.

I hate to say this, but you must stop masturbating with objects that are not clean, even your fingers not washed will violate the condition inside your vagina that will cause this irritation.

What did I miss? Tickle, can you quote where the OP says that she masturbates with dirty objects and unclean fingers? I can't even find where she states that she masturbates, much less what she uses to masturbate.
