I need to find a stand alone fiberglass or plastic conversation kit for my mobile homes garden tub, the is no wall to attach the pipe to where the faucet is and I don't want to change that? So I would have to stand on its own with no support and does it need to have plastic fittings to fit to the plastic pipes or can u go metal to plastic pipes ?

Can you use a Roman tub faucet? That's what we have, sit in the tub and shower.

Where are the pipes going to come in from ? If not the wall ?

But in my fathers home, I have a metal one that I added, I chose metal for its strengh since it was standing alone. The pipes come in from the bottom, and all of the pipes are inside. It is not overly pretty, but very funtional
