The US does not have the CA (Chartered Accountant) designation. The US has a CPA, which is the Certified Public Accountant designation. Every State has their own requirements, but mostly you have to have 150 credit hours which is met by having a Masters Degree, 30 credit hours in Accounting and 2 years of experience of working for a CPA.

It is best to go online and look for the requirements of the State you are applying to.
