I have carrier 58sta070 gas furnace and I just replaced the gas valve. I came to the conclusion tI have carrier 58sta070 gas furnace and I just replaced the gas valve. I came to the conclusion to replace it because through the sequence of operation the gas valve would not open although it was getting 24 volts, it was glowing red.. the led code also matched with error code 34 which indicated possible valve issues.. the problem is that after replacement the furnace doesn't start up at all, it's getting 24 volts and 120 volts as well.. the led code reads continuous on now.. any thoughts on what the problem could be?
