I have a Thermo King gas furnace that is fairly new. I have a question:
I cannot find where to replace a filter on this furnace. No place is evident and I have looked all around it and cannot find a panel to lift or slide to reveal the location of an air filter. HELP

Is this a very small home or mobile home? Sometimes small places have only one air return intake, filter can be right behind that screen.

No, this is a furnace for a large older home. Richard

Do you know how to open the panel that exposes the blower?

You may have a central house filter. Have you checked?

Most likely inside the air handler case. Turn the fan off, open the lower front-either twist lock or lift and pull. Look to the side where the air return is coming in. Filter will probably be in there.

I'm sorry but there is no twist lock evident. One panel comes off but all that shows is the blower and nothing else is evident.

Shut off the blower and use a flashlight to look left and right of the blower. The filter will be upstream of the blower so all air is pulled through the filter before the blower

Not on my Thermo King furnace. I was wondering if perhaps there was no filter and I got cheap furnace. I did have it installed by a company that was paid by a low income loan through the county I got because I am a senior citizen too. I am going back to the office where I got my loan and ask them on Monday so I think this ends this post. Thanks for your efforts and Merry Christmas.
